PANEL 1: We go into another flashback, but this is VERY exaggerated and over the top. The colors are extremely saturated and everyone has sparkly anime eyes. Nathan kicks open the front door, Wilbur kneeling behind him while holding up peace signs. A younger Mai stares at both of them in awe. NATHAN: ALRIGHT, STAND BACK EVERYONE! WE GOT SOME SERIOUS GHOST HUNTER TRICKS UP OUR SLEEVE! PANEL 2: Nathan kneels down and puts his hands on Mai's shoulders. It should also be noted that he has sharp teeth. He and Mai are surrounded by yellow and white glowing anime sparkles. NATHAN: Kid, we're gonna save your sister. PANEL 3: The previous panel abruptly turns grayscale as current-time Eddie stands in front of it, hands out to the side, holding out one finger on each hand, and looking utterly baffled. EDDIE: Hold on.
