PANEL 1: A green, humanlike figure with glowing white eyes starts to take shape. It stares at Nathan. PANEL 2: Nathan’s eyes glimmer with hope. PANEL 3: Nathan reaches out to the figure as it forms further. PANEL 4: The figure reveals himself to be Russel Marek- an older ghost with dark brown skin, a white scarf, oval glasses, and greying hair. Nathan pulls his hand back in surprise. RUSSEL: Nathan Vargas! Now there’s a face I haven’t seen in years! PANEL 5: Nathan takes a step back, staring at Russel who floats in front of him. Russel smiles, holding a hand to his chest. RUSSEL: What brings you back here NATHAN: I- You– PANEL 6: Nathan looks incredibly angry. NATHAN: What do you want?!
PANEL 1: We fade in from static to present day. Nathan stands with his back to the camera, alone at night in a graveyard. NATHAN: I sure hope you are. PANEL 2: Nathan holds his lantern out in front of himself, which glows a bright green color. We see that, in present day, his left glasses lense is cracked. PANEL 3: A closeup of Nathan’s right eye. It glows green. NATHAN: Come on, I know you’re here. You’ve gotta be… PANEL 4: A figure begins to take form in front of the lantern.
PANEL 1: A blurry, up close shot of Nathan, who is wearing a punk battle jacket with multiple buttons and patches on it. This includes arm patches of the Trans flag and the Asexual flag. There’s a “RECORDING” camera interface overlayed on each of these panels. Nathan is speaking to someone offscreen, the dialogue is as follows: ???: Nate, I’ve got it NATHAN: Hold on, I’m making sure it’s running. ???: I hit record! PANEL 2: Nathan backs away, smirking. NATHAN: Yeah, well, I can’t be sure you know how to work one of these things, Wil. WILBUR: !Vete a la chingada, Nathan! PANEL 3: Nathan sits down on a tree stump in the middle of the woods, holding his lantern and smiling nervously. The camera is now clearer, and we can see a much younger Nathan. He’s wearing a leather jacket with the Asexual and Transgender pride flags on his right sleeve. His hair is down and he does not have a prosthetic. The dialogue is as follows: WILBUR: Okay, just- sit back down, Mr.Star-Of-The-Show. Camera’s working. NATHAN: Okay, great! Got it! PANEL 4: Nathan faces the camera, still with that nervous smile on his face. NATHAN: So…You ready, Wilbur? The panel fades into static.
