Nathan Vargas 35 | He/They | Trans Male | Asexual/Homoromantic | SPEC: Spirit Nathan was once the charismatic and extremely energetic host of the acclaimed paranormal investigation show “ParaNathan”. After the passing of his twin brother and co-host Wilbur, Nathan disappeared from the public eye. He’s since become reserved, avoiding ghosts entirely. Rumor has it that on some nights you can find him out by the graveyard calling out for his brother. Perhaps believing he may still be able to find his soul.

Joey Vargas 12 | He/Him | SPEC: Yet to be discovered. Joey is the son of Wilbur Vargas. After his father’s passing, Joey was put into the care of his uncle Nathan. He’s a bright if not somewhat clumsy and impatient kid who’s determined to find the answers he seeks by any means possible. Joey is at the age where he should be learning what his powers are, and he’s eager to get these answers as soon as possible. Maybe a little too eager.

Eddie Pierce 37 | Any Pronouns | Genderfluid | Gay (MLM) | SPEC: Copycat Eddie Pierce is the real identity of the anonymous street artist known to Elysium City as “WH0AM1?”. They’re a laid back alley cat who spends their time creating murals around the city and evading the law. Not much is known about his past as he tends to be rather secretive, a trait she hides under layers of charisma. Eddie joins Nathan’s investigations, wanting to keep the guy out of trouble. Who knows, along the way the gang could learn more about this elusive alley cat. That is assuming that there’s a way to see who she really is, of course.

Mai Nguyen 20 | She/Her | Trans Female | Demisexual Arospec Lesbian | SPEC: Vibes Mai Nguyen is a former fan of Nathan's old ghost hunting show "ParaNathan." Mai is a passionate young woman with a love for anything and everything paranormal. She's easily overwhemled by her Spec, Vibes, which allows her to pick up on the emotions of the people around her. This often causes her to worry about what people around her think of her, hiding away her own flame incase anyone is too afraid of the heat.

Eli Brusque 50s | He/Him | Cis Male | Bisexual | SPEC: ??? Eli Brusque is the owner and CEO of SpecTech, a research/tech company that dips its toe into anything and everything to do with Specs and the powers they hold. Eli claims to have never discovered his own Spec, now dedicating his time to helping others share and discover their own abilities. Eli basks in the spotlight, he's got charm and quick wit to match. When he meets Joey Vargas at one of his company's conventions, Eli offers the kid help in discovering his true potential.

Eileen Nguyen 25 (at time of death/disappearance) | She/Her or He/Him | Bigender | SPEC: Daredevil Eileen was an extremely energetic stuntman with a passion for the arts. She loved everything flashy and high action, always looking for the next exciting challenge to tackle. Five years before the events of the comic, Eileen mysteriously disappeared. Nathan and Wilbur were contacted to investigate, but nothing came of it. To this day, his disappearance is unsolved, but the general consensus seems to be that he is no longer with us.

Wilbur Vargas 30 (at time of death, deceased) | He/Him | Bisexual | SPEC: Guide Wilbur was the more levelheaded of the Vargas twins, being very stoic and a bit awkward with other people. He had a knack for investigation, in part thanks to his Spec, and would often assist Nathan during his ghost hunts on ParaNathan. Five years ago, a fire broke out in the Vargas's office building, resulting in Wilbur's death. Nathan believes that his spirit is still out there, though, and is desperately searching for him to this day.
